Uber paid hackers $100,000 to hide year-old breach of 57 million users

Uber has admitted to the cover-up of a year old hacking attack that stole the personal information of more than 57 million customers and drivers.  The ride-hailing company's new CEO criticized the company's handling of the data theft and said there's no evidence the stolen information was misused. The hack took the names, email addresses and phone numbers of 57 million riders and the driver's license numbers of 600,000 Uber drivers
