Cuero takes care of business in playoff match versus West Oso

The Cuero Gobblers won their bi-district playoff match today in a blowout, beating the West Oso Bears 67 to 10. The Gobblers came out early, forcing a safety on West Oso's first drive. From their, they didn't look back. The Gobblers scored 32 unanswered points in under 8 minutes to put the game out of reach early. With the win, the Gobblers will move on to the area playoff game against Crystal City. That game will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Alamo Stadium.

Cuero qb Drew Riemenschneider throws rainbow pass to Whittington who breaks multiple tackles, swings around defenders and takes ball into West Oso red zone off 73 yard reception. Cuero running back Chance Albrecht takes the Wildcat snap, jukes two defenders, finishes off drive for Cuero td, Cuero scores 32 unanswered points in under 8 minutes, Cuero 32 West Oso 0 in the first quarter.
