VISD Seeking Public's Input Regarding Future Bond Proposals

Posted: Updated:

Lou Svetlik, president of the Victoria ISD school board, spoke at this  mornings economic development partnership meeting, regarding the upcoming VISD school board meeting, which will give the public the opportunity to express their opinions regarding the last bond proposal, and especially what the district will need to do better if another bond were to be presented in the future. Svetlik says open and honest communication between the public and the district is key to future success.

"Obviously the community has spoken, and we had not resonated or shared enough information with the community to get broad support, but we certainly want to do so....we will continue to build those partnerships,"  said Svetlik.

This public forum will be a part of VISD's regular school board meeting, which will take place this Thursday, November the 16th, at 6 p.m...inside board room at the VISD administration building, located at 102 Profit Drive.
