UHV Men's Soccer Makes Conference Tourney Finals

UHV men's soccer will play for the Red River conference tournament title. The Jaguars won their semifinal Thursday, 2-0, over St. Thomas. Espen Hansen and Adrian Mendoza scored first half goals, and Palemon Plancarte had five saves. The UHV men go for their first Red River tourney title against LSU-Alexandria Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Texarkana.

      It didn't take long for St. Joseph's volleyball to clinch the district title.  With their 25-4, 25-7, 25-6 victory over John Paul on Tuesday, the Flyers officially clinched district, with the last game of the season coming this Friday night at Brownsville St. Joseph. The Flyers dominated from start to finish, getting eight kills from Savannah Wharton, seven from Mikah Sloan and 14 digs from Katharine Terry.
