VCSO arrests three drug dealers in raid

The Victoria County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit conducted a successful operation when they took down three drug dealers and executed two search warrants on October 10th. Deputies arrested the suspects who were conducting an illegal enterprise in the city of Victoria.

During the course of the investigation, deputies seized the following items:

  • One vehicle
  • 7 rifles
  • One handgun
  • 962 grams of synthetic marijuana
  • 112 grams of Xanax
  • 40 grams of methamphetamine
  • 20 grams of marijuana
  • $8,146 in cash made from dealing drugs

The follow people were arrested in connection with this criminal investigation:

  • Carlton McNary, 35 - Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 greater than or equal to 4grams less than 200 grams, Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 2 or 2A less than 400 grams, Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3-4 greater than or equal to 28 gram but less than 200 Grams, Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz, Evading Arrest or Detention, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  • Wallace McNary, 43 - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  • Michelle Fuentes, 35 - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity

When deputies confronted Carlton McNary, he attempted to escape on foot but was unsuccessful. Regarding this operation Sheriff O’Connor said “Once again, the members of our Special Operations Unit have done their part to remove the criminal element from the streets of Victoria. They conducted a thorough investigation and were able to apprehend the criminals, seize $15,000 worth of drugs, and seize the proceeds from their illegal business. The men and women of the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office are doing their part in the fight against drugs. As Sheriff, I am proud of their efforts and applaud their success once again. Drugs are the root of evil, and we will aggressively hunt down every dealer we identify.”
