UHV soccer played in a home conference matchup Saturday against the University of Southwest.

The Jaguar women started things off at The Cage with the first game of the day. Southwest ended up shutting out UHV, 2-0. Olivia Salas paced the Jaguars with three shots. Goalkeeper Amanda Bautista finished with six saves for UHV. The Jaguars fall to 2-5 on the year and 1-3 in the RRAC.

The UHV men followed that game with a loss as well. The Jaguars jumped out to an early lead with a goal from Espen Hansen, but UHV gave up two second-half goals to fall to the Mustangs, 2-1. That snapped a four-game win streak for the UHV men, as they drop to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference.
