Victoria Street Closed Beginning on September 12

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will close the following street to through traffic to install utilities beginning on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, . 

  • Victoria Street from Nueces Street to Power Avenue
  • North Street from Craig Street to Vine Street
  • Stayton Avenue from Craig Street to Vine Street

These road closures are expected to take 2 days, weather permitting.

All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible, and the public is encouraged to support businesses in the work zone.  Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.

This construction is part of the $3,903,377.29 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements   (Ph IV - Projects 1a, 2a, & 3a). The contractor is Palacios Marine and Industrial Coatings, Inc. of Palacios, Texas.
