VC begins Brown Bag Series on September 15

Victoria College’s Workforce & Continuing Education Department will begin its Fall 2017 Brown Bag Series with “Etiquette for Business” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 in Room 302 of VC’s Emerging Technology Complex.

The cost for the 90-minute workshop is $25. Guests should bring their own lunches.

The introductory course will provide tips on how etiquette can be of value to a company or organization. Participants will learn how to make effective introductions, minimize nervousness in social situations, use a business card effectively, identify the three C’s of a good impression, and learn tips on how to remember names.

The series will continue on Friday, Oct. 20 with “Dining Etiquette for Business” and conclude on Friday, Nov. 17 with “Communication Etiquette for Business.”

The Emerging Technology Complex is located at 7403 Lone Tree Road in Victoria.
