Back To School Vaccinations For Students

Posted: Updated:

The Victoria Public Health Department is open for children to receive their vaccinations. The forms that you need to bring include a complete shot record and proof you are on Medicaid. You can stop by for the shots at the times you see on your screen. Mondays 1-4 PM; Wednesdays 8-11 AM and 1-4 PM; and Fridays 7:30-11:30 AM.
Nurse Shannon Geistman recommends coming in now to beat the august crowds. "The wait times aren't that long. Starting around the first of August you can be here because people wait until the last minute. We have wait times up to 2-3 hours," said Giestman.

For those who don't have insurance one shot is $14.85 and two or more shots are $20.
