(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Friday, May 19, 2017, the City will close North Street from Glass Street to Main Street to thru traffic to install utility lines. Bridge Street will also be reduced to one lane from Stayton Avenue to Rio Grande Street. This road closure and lane reduction is expected to take 1 day, weather permitting.
All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible, and the public is encouraged to support businesses in the work zone. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.
This construction is part of the $3,903,377.29 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements.
