      The University of Houston-Victoria women's golf team improved just enough in Sunday's final round to move up a spot and finish fifth at the Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships.

The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars softball team extended its winning streak to 10 games Friday afternoon as they complete a four-game sweep against the University of the Southwest Lady Mustangs at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex.
