ALDI to host hiring events

VICTORIA- Local residents currently seeking employment opportunities are in luck. ALDI will host hiring events for its upcoming store in Victoria on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 26.

Opportunities within ALDI include Store Associate, Shift Manager and Manager Trainee positions.

Positions:                    Store Associate - $12.25 per hour

Shift Manager - $12.25 per hour plus additional $5.00 per hour premium when performing manager duties

Manager Trainee - $57,000 per year ($23.00 per hour averaging 45 hours per week), with an opportunity to earn $75,000 to $85,000 per year as a Store Manager

 

Job Requirements:     •   Must be 18 years or older to apply

•   High school diploma or GED preferred

•   Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday

•   Retail experience preferred

•   Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees

•   Drug screening and background check

•   Ability to lift 45 pounds

The event will be held at the Homewood Suites from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 26.

The store is expected to open this summer.
