Man Pleads Guilty to Yoakum Bank Robbery

YOAKUM- A man is pleading guilty to robbing a bank back in November during a court hearing, police say.

In November we first told you, an unidentified man robbed Prosperity Bank around noon on Thursday, November 3, 2016.

On Monday, Police Chief Karl VanSlooten said Chad Latham appeared in a Corpus Christi courtroom where he plead guilty to the crime.

Police say Latham handed a note to the teller demanding money. 

He said he had a gun, but police say no weapon was ever shown. 

Latham left with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Within minutes, Latham drove off in black Dodge pickup with no tailgate.
