Wrestlers to State
VISD sports history will be made Thursday in our state capital city.
The largest group of wrestlers to ever make it to state in one year will start competing at state Thursday. Six wrestlers are going to Austin, including two boys, 120 pound regional champion John Garcia of West, and Josh Morales of East at 138. Four girls are going from West; regional silver medalist Jasmene Porter at 215, Austin Supak at 128, Lorraina Moses at 148 pounds, and Keirsten Reed at 119.
