West softball came back twice to beat Calhoun, 11-9, in 30-4A action Friday night at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex. The Warriors scored five times in the second to lead 7-6, then scored three more times to take the lead for good. Karly Rae Hoerig was the winning pitcher. For West, Makayla McDonald went 2-for-4, scored two runs, drove in three; Allena Cannady went 2-for-3, scored three runs, had an RBI, and Taylor Malray had two RBI's for West, who is 2-1 in district.
