West baseball split two games at the Gregory-Portland tourney Thursday. The Warriors first beat Rockport, 5-1. Garrett Harrison was the winning pitcher, Dylan Redding with a West RBI. The Warriors then lost to Flour Bluff, 2-1 in eight innings. Koby Bynum was the losing pitcher even though he did not give up an earned run. Harrison with two hits as the Warriors next play at GP Friday at 11:30 a.m. vs. Kingsville, then at 2:00 p.m. vs. Calhoun.
