Vucevic, Duncan named NBA Players of the Week

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic and San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan have been named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending March 30.

Vucevic led the Magic to a 2-1 week with averages of 22.7 points and a league- leading 14.3 rebounds. He recorded a double-double in each game, including a 24-point, 23-rebound performance in a 110-105 win against Charlotte on Friday.

The Spurs went 4-0 last week with Duncan leading the way. He averaged 20 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Other nominees included Brooklyn's Paul Pierce, Charlotte's Al Jefferson, Miami's LeBron James, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, among others.
