VISD Crossroads Softball Tourney

East, West and St. Joseph played on the first day of the VISD Crossroads softball tournament at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex.  The Titans lost to Pleasanton, 5-0, then lost to Goliad, 8-7. The Warriors lost to Pleasanton, 6-1. The Lady Flyers beat East Bernard, 5-4. Sarah Sainz was the winning pitcher. Beth Bigham drove in two runs for St. Joe, while Alyssa Adames went 2-for-4 with an RBI.  In game two, Adames came on in relief, allowed four hits, and got the 9-1 win over Goliad. Sainz, Peyton Cuellar and Bailey Knippa scored two runs apiece for the Lady Flyers.
