Two wins apiece for East and West at the VISD Crossroads Softball tourney. The Titans first beat St. Joseph, 2-1, and East Bernard, 8-6, before losing to El Campo, 13-0. The Warriors first played Yoakum to a 1-1 tie, then beat Goliad, 11-1, with Dee Gallup and Suzette Garcia getting two hits apiece. Madi Marek was the winning pitcher in that game, then Karly Rae Hoerig got the win for West, 3-2, over the Lady Flyers. St. Joe lost to El Campo, 9-5. The Lady Birds' Erin Niemeier with a two-run homer, five RBI's.
