Victoria College men's and women's basketball could clinch the top seed in the conference tournament in their last home games of the season Wednesday night. The women did by beating St. Phillip's, 80-64. Adelaide Wenzel led the Pirates with 25 points, 16 for Courtney Duke, Allison Peters scored 12, and 11 for Brayson McGrew. The VC men suffered their first conference loss in 14 games, 66-64, to St. Phillip's. Bryce Henry paced the Pirates with 15 points, 13 for Xavier Callis, Josh Sanchez scored 13, and Jake Schulte chipped in 11.
