Our Lady of the Lake's Jorge Cantu scored three second half goals to help the Saints snapped the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars seven-game win streak with a 3-0 decision at The Cage.
The Jaguars dropped to 8-3 on the season, while the Saints improved to 7-2. It was the first loss of the season at home for the Jaguars.
Cantu and Marcelo Chapa teamed up for the first two goals in the 47th and 60th minutes. Cantu struck again in the 67th minute off an assist by Elias Cortes.
The Jaguars looked to tie the contest in the 50th minute off a free kick from Hector Ramirez as the ball bounced off the OLLU goalkeepers' hands and appeared to get just inside the post, but officials ruled it no goal.
OLLU held a 9-7 shot advantage, including a 5-4 edge in shots on goal, over the Jaguars.
Ramirez paced the Jaguars with three shots, while Jack Pluckwell, Connor McGillivray, Daniel Lozano and Marcus Watts each had one.
The Jaguars return to action Saturday when they host Houston St. Thomas in a 4 p.m. match at The Cage.
