The University of Houston-Victoria men’s golf team enters the 2015 season ranked tied for No. 25 in the NAIA Golf Coaches Association of America Coaches Preseason Poll released today.

 

The Jaguars share the No. 25 spot with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical (Fla.).

 

Association of Independent Institutions Conference foes University of British Columbia and California State-San Marcos are the only two conference schools ranked ahead of the Jaguars.

 

UBC comes into the season ranked No. 10, while CSUSM is No. 11 with 135 and 116 points respectively.

 

Defending national champion Oklahoma City, with one first-place vote, holds down the No. 1 spot with 217 points, while College of Coastal Georgia, with seven first-place votes, is close behind at No. 2 with 215 points. Rounding out the top five are William Woods at No. 3, Johnson & Wales (Fla.) at No. 4 and Grand View at No. 5.
