UHV men's golf was supposed to play 36 holes Monday at the San Antonio Shootout, but the second 18 holes were canceled due to high winds gusting up to 40 miles an hour. Vance Edwards shot 80 to lead the Jaguars to 12th after the first 18 with a 340 score. Steve Jones had the second best Jaguar score at 85, Will Hicks posted an 86, 89 for Colton Martin and 94 for Jake Truss. Round two is Tuesday, with the planned 18 holes, at the TPC-San Antonio Canyons course.
