Kyle Bludau went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs,, while Robert Zaragoza added a pair of RBIs in helping the University of Houston-Victoria snap a six-game losing streak to 11th-ranked Texas A&M-Kingsville with a 7-3 win Friday at riverside Stadium.

The Jaguars improved to 4-7 on the season, while the Javelinas fell to 2-4. The Jaguars will be back in action Saturday when they host Texas Wesleyan in a 1 p.m. contest at Constellation Field in Sugar Land.

The Jaguars got to Javelinas starter Dallas Ponder in the third as they plated five runs in the inning, including three against Ponder. The Jaguars would add solo runs in the fifth and seventh.

Stephen Shorkey and Ryan Suescun each doubled for the Jaguars, while Dylan Blaha went 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI to help lead the offense.

Nathan Falkenstine (2-1) worked six innings and allowed two runs on three hits and four walks, while striking out seven to earn the win. Andre Del Bosque pitch 2.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn his second save.
