UHV baseball pitcher Andre Del Bosque was invited and will be attending pre-draft workouts this Saturday for the Cincinnati Reds, and June 2 with the Houston Astros. Del Bosque, the AII pitcher of the year, set a Jaguar single season record with 13 saves this season. In 34 appearances, Del Bosque, the UHV male athlete of the year and baseball MVP, had a 1.64 ERA. In 71.1 innings pitched, the St. Joseph graduate allowed just 13 earned runs, had 86 strikeouts, and had an opponent's batting average of .178.
