Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Twins activated outfielder Aaron Hicks from the seven-day concussion disabled list Friday.

Hicks suffered the injury in game two of the split doubleheader with the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 1, after crashing into the outfield wall.

The 24-year-old has one home run and seven RBI over 24 games this season, but is hitting a meager .178.

In addition, the Twins purchased the contract of infielder/outfielder Chris Parmelee from Triple-A Rochester and designated outfielder Kenny Wilson for assignment.
