Sandies Go for Eight
Another Calhoun girls team will be busy trying to make history Friday morning.
The Sandies powerlifting team will be going after a state record eighth consecutive Texas high school women's powerlifting association state title. 12 Sandies are on the team this year, up from three from last year. However, there are just four girls on the Calhoun team that were there for state title number seven in 2012.
