STJ Softball At Lady Flyer Tournament

St. Joseph softball went 1-1 at its tournament Friday. The Lady Flyers first beat Karnes City, 4-1. Amanda Sohrt tossed a four-hitter for the Lady Flyers with six strikeouts. Mariah Clay had two hits and two RBI's for St. Joe. In their second game, the Lady Flyers lost to East Bernard, 4-2, on the third international tiebreaker. Sarah Sainz threw a three-hitter in the loss.
