St. Joseph and Faith Academy softball had impressive wins in their district openers. The Lady Flyers won at San Antonio Christian, 24-0, in three innings. Amanda Sohrt pitched a two-hitter. Paige Terrell had a grand slam, seven RBI's for St. Joe, while Peyton Cuellar went 4-for-4 with four RBi's. The Lady Cougars won at New Braunfels Pope John Paul II, 16-1. Gabbie Torres pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts and she went 3-for-3 with four runs scored. Anissa Rodriguez went 3-for-3 with two RBI's for the Lady Cougars.
