St. Joseph baseball picked up its ninth straight win, eighth straight in district, Tuesday night by beating Austin Regents, 6-3, at Riverside Stadium. Michael Brawner was the winner, going the distance and striking out seven. Braxton Mayfield had a two-run single for the Flyers in the fourth, and A.J. Calvo doubled in the winninig runs in the sixth. St. Joe clinched second place in district and will host its Area playoff game.
