St. Joseph baseball won its district opener Tuesday night at San Antonio Christian, 9-1. Jerry Vasquez tossed a three-hitter with 17 strikeouts for the Flyers, and he went 2-for-4 with four RBI's. St. Joe's A.J. Calvo also had two hits and two RBI's.
