St. Joseph baseball won going away at Riverside Stadium Tuesday. The Flyers beat Industrial, 16-6, game stopped after five on the run rule. The Flyers scored 10 runs in the first inning. In that inning, Jerry Vasquez went 2-for-2 with three RBI's. He ended the game 4-for-5 with six ribbies. Clayton Davidson had a two-run double in that first, while Eric Alvarez went 2-for-2 in the game with three runs scored and two steals. Sam Poland was the winning pitcher. The Flyers, now 6-1, start play in the Hallettsville Sacred Heart tourney Thursday at 1:30 p.m. vs. Ganado.
