St. Joseph baseball's season ended Monday night at Riverside Stadium, as the Flyers lost in the TAPPS 4A Area playoffs to Houston Lutheran South, 10-2. The Pioneers broke the game open with six runs over the last two innings. Michael Brawner got the loss, giving up eight hits while striking out seven. The Flyers, who finished the season with a 15-14 record, committed six errors, and A.J. Calvo went 3-for-4 for St. Joe.
