St. Joseph baseball went 1-1 at the Weimar tournament Thursday. The Flyers lost to Yoakum, 6-1. Jacob Vasquez drove in St. Joe's only run. The Flyers then beat Smithville, 9-3. A.J. Calvo tossed a six-hitter to get the win. Vasquez had two RBI's, Michael Brawner went 4-for-4 with an RBI for the Flyers, who next play in the consolation final there Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
