(SportsNetwork.com) - St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will miss the season after an MRI revealed he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Saturday's game against Cleveland, according to ESPN.

It is the same injury that sidelined the former No. 1 overall draft pick for the Rams' final nine games last season.

St. Louis head coach Jeff Fisher will address the media later Sunday.

Bradford went down on the game's opening drive after throwing an incomplete pass. He was pressured and hit high by Browns defensive lineman Armonty Bryant.

Bradford completed 4-of-9 passes for 77 yards before departing.
