Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Green Bay Packers re-signed quarterback Matt Flynn on Tuesday.

Flynn, 28, was drafted by Green Bay in the seventh round in 2008 out of LSU and spent his first four seasons in the league with the Packers backing up Aaron Rodgers. In 2012, Flynn signed as a free agent with Seattle, where he lost the starting job to then rookie Russell Wilson.

Flynn spent time with Oakland and Buffalo in 2013 before signing with the Packers as a free agent on Nov. 12. He was under center for five games -- four starts -- while Rodgers was out with a broken collarbone. Flynn threw for 1,146 yards and seven touchdowns during that stretch.

Over his six-year career, Flynn has racked up 2,475 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
