Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Washington Nationals pitcher Ross Detwiler has been added to the United States' roster for the upcoming World Baseball Classic.

Detwiler was 10-8 with a 3.40 ERA in 33 games, including 27 starts, for the NL East champs last year.

The 26-year-old lefty will be the third National to play in this spring's WBC, joining pitcher Gio Gonzalez on the American roster and outfielder Roger Bernadina, who will play for the Netherlands.
