Magic's Nicholson added to Rising Stars Challenge

Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Orlando Magic forward Andrew Nicholson will now be a participant in the All-Star weekend activities.

The 6-foot-9 rookie out of St. Bonaventure will replace Detroit Pistons injured center Andre Drummond (back) on Team Shaq in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. The event will be played on Friday, Feb. 15 in Houston.

Nicholson has made 13 starts for Orlando and has appeared in 47 games so far this season. He is averaging 7.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest.
