Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms with quarterback Chad Henne on a two-year contract.

Henne's deal is worth $8 million, including $4.5 million guaranteed, according to reports.

"Jacksonville was my first choice," Henne said during a conference call with reporters on Friday.

Henne started 13 games last season and played in 15 due to Blaine Gabbert's consistent injury issues. The 28-year-old Henne completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 3,241 yards with 13 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

The move could be an indicator that Gabbert's days in Jacksonville are limited.

The Jaguars hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles and Johnny Manziel are some of the top quarterbacks that could be on the board when Jacksonville picks.

If the Jags pick a quarterback in the draft, Henne would likely bridge the gap for the new "franchise" quarterback.
