Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving sat out his third consecutive contest with a hyperextended right knee.

The first-time All Star wasn't available for Friday's home contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. He also missed Cleveland's game versus Chicago on Tuesday, although the Cavs came out with a victory to snap an 11-game losing streak versus the Bulls. Irving also missed a 103-92 home win over Toronto on Thursday.

Irving, who is listed as day-to-day, has averages of 23.3 points, 5.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game in 45 contests this season.
