Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Hawks have traded guard Anthony Morrow to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for forward Dahntay Jones.

Morrow was averaging 5.2 points in 24 games for Atlanta this season. He played his previous two seasons with the Nets and had career bests in points (13.2) and minutes played (32.0) per game in the 2010-11 season.

Jones, a 10-year veteran, was averaging 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 50 games, including 15 starts, for the Mavericks this year. The 30-year-old is coming off his worst season since 2007-08, when he played just 25 games with Sacramento.
