Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Denver Broncos coach John Fox said wide receiver Wes Welker is 'doing good' after suffering a concussion in Saturday's game against Houston.

Welker was hurt after taking a hit from Houston defensive back D.J. Swearinger late in the second quarter. It was his third concussion in the past 10 months.

Fox was unsure when Welker would return and said the team would take it one day at a time.

"Our first priority is his safety and his well-being," Fox said Monday. "He's doing good and going through the protocol now, and he'll be out there when he's deemed healthy."

Welker sustained a pair of concussions late last year and missed the final three games of the 2013 regular season.

The Broncos also placed wide receiver Jordan Norwood on injured reserve Monday because of a torn ACL suffered in practice last week and waived defensive tackle Cody Larsen to reach the 75-man roster limit.
