Faith Academy Baseball Wins First Openers

Faith Academy baseball won its first two games of the season Thursday at the Port Aransas tournament. The Cougars first beat Corpus Christi London, 11-0, on a three-inning no-hitter by by Jake Garcia, who also went 2-for-3 and scored two runs. Faith then beat Benavides, 10-2, with Jacob Nunez getting the wins. The Cougars stole 24 bases in the two games combined. The Cougars next play in the tourney Saturday at 8:00 a.m. vs. S.A. Cornerstone.
