East softball lost its district opener Wednesday night at Tuloso-Midway, 16-8. The Titans made nine errors. Three hits apiece for Marissa Alarcon and Alisha Quinterro, who was the losing pitcher, giving up nine hits and four earned runs in 1.1 innings. Dakotah Peterson pitched 4.2 innings for East, giving up seven hits and no earned runs.
