Diamondbacks reliever Putz put on DL

Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Diamondbacks placed right- handed reliever J.J. Putz on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday due to right forearm tightness.

Putz, who is 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA in 13 relief outings this season, was replaced on the roster by reliever Evan Marshall, who was recalled from Triple-A Reno.

Marshall, who has yet to appear in a major league game, went 0-1 with an 0.54 ERA and two saves in 14 efforts for the Aces.

The Diamondbacks also recalled right-handed pitcher Chase Anderson from Double-A Mobile and optioned right-handed pitcher Mike Bolsinger to Reno.
