Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs announced Tuesday that they signed tight end Kevin Brock, defensive lineman Marcus Dixon and wide receiver Mardy Gilyard.

Brock has mostly served as a practice squad member, having stints with the Jets (2009), Steelers (2009), Bears (2009-10), Cowboys (2010), Raiders (2010-11) and Bills (2011-12). In 2011, he played two games, recording two receptions for 27 yards.

Dixon played the past three seasons with the Jets, recording 21 tackles, 2 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cowboys in 2008.

Gilyard played eight games with the Jets and Eagles last season. After six games and not recording a single reception for Philadelphia, he was released and joined New York, where he had two receptions for 15 yards. In 2010, he recorded six receptions for 63 yards with the Rams.
