Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs addressed their secondary needs by officially signing veteran cornerback Dunta Robinson on Wednesday.

Multiple media outlets, including the Kansas City Star, reported last week that the deal is for three years.

The 30-year-old Robinson, who was cut by Atlanta, started all 16 games for the Falcons last season and racked up 80 tackles and one interception. The Georgia native started all 47 games in which he played over his three seasons in Atlanta.

Selected 10th overall out of South Carolina by the Houston Texans in the 2004 NFL Draft, Robinson has career totals of 580 tackles, 17 interceptions and 5 1/2 sacks in 131 games.
