Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving has been cleared to resume full contact practice.

Irving is continuing to recover from a strained left biceps tendon experienced during the team's March 16th game in Los Angeles against the Clippers. His status for Cleveland's upcoming two-game road to Orlando and Atlanta this week has not been determined.

The Cavaliers also updated center Anderson Varejao's status, ruling him out for the Magic game on Wednesday. He suffered a sprained AC joint sprain in his right shoulder against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

Irving is the team's leading scorer, averaging 21.2 points in 64 games this season. Varejao is averaging 8.6 points and 10.0 rebounds in 60 games (29 starts).
