Athlete of the Week
For the third straight year, this West Warrior has earned athlete of the week honors.
Three years ago Mallory Draper became the first diver to represent the VISD in a state meet. Last year she because the first diver to do it twice and now for the third year in a row she is going back to the state competition. It’s been a lot of work for this Warrior and Draper is just ready to get on the diving board. She comes into the state competition ranked 6th, the highest she has ever been ranked and she’s feeling real confident coming into Friday’s competition. Mallory draper starts diving at the state meet Friday afternoon at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center in Austin.
