Athlete of the Week
We have athletes of the week this time, three powerful West Warriors.
The Victoria West Warriors will be heading back to state for the second year in a row in powerlifting. This time bringing two boys, David Ledbetter and Marcus Hernandez and for the first time in the school’s history, a girl, Elizabeth Nitch, a freshman none the less will represent the VISD.
Nitch will lift at state Friday at the American Bank Center in Corpus. Hernandez and Ledbetter will go for state titles on the 23rd in Abilene.
